Eddie Money

Yesterday we went to the concert in the park to see Eddie Money. It was a lot of fun but everyone in the park was eating yummy food and drinking. I miss pizza and wine and that was all around me. That was ok. I enjoyed the old school Eddie Money tunes and had fun joking around with my friends. My friend Drea told her boyfriend to tell me "Wow you look good but what happened to your boobs?" He chickened out but she told me. It was so funny that I was brought to tears. My poor chest. :(

So after the concert we were going to go to dinner. They chose Joe's Crab Shack! Mmmmm!!!! I ordered a side Cesar salad with grilled shrimp no cesar dressing, side of strawberry vinaigrette dressing that I used maybe a teaspoon of and picked off the croutons. There food order was vastly different then mine... I had to take pictures!

They had this cheesy crab dip as an appy. I love this dip! But I didn't touch it! Yay me!

For dessert they had yummy banana fosters.. Damn!!! This looked so flippin good!

So just another day in the life of a recovering diet junkie.

I still miss yummy food but 27lbs down so I gotta push forward. I know that it will be worth it because I know that I will feel so much better about myself when all is said and done!

What are we teaching our girls?

I was trying on clothes at Target the other day just minding my own business when I overheard 2 mothers with there daughters trying on swim suits. I heard the mother say to her daughter "That bikini looks good but you really need to start doing some sit ups." The daughter responded with "Oh, Ok." I came out of the dressing room to swap out some clothes and saw the girls. These girls were about 12 or 13 yrs old. Before I left they were still trying clothes on and this time when the girl showed the different bikini to her friend she had her arm covering her stomach and said "I need to work on my fat stomach" I did everything to control myself from slapping that little girls mother. These were thin girls. She didn't have a 6-pack but she was so far from even being chubby. That one comment from her mother and I already saw the complex forming. She was now trying to cover her stomach. I just think its ridiculous. It was very upsetting to me. Yes people should be healthy but come on! Just had to vent about that!
